Resurfacing Schedule (UPDATED on 6th May)

The surfacing on 6th will cause an impassable blockage at the point where the tar & chip is being deployed, but note that this is a rolling blockage and constantly moving. The contractor needs to cover 4km in 8 hours so will be travelling along the roads at 500m per hour. IEL’s contractors will be applying chippings to the roads on Tuesday 11th & Wednesday 12th August 2020

Please be aware that our contractor will continue to spread and rolling chippings into the road surfaces tomorrow, apologies in advance for any disruption caused. Update: maintenance works in Ifold

Following the Government’s escalation to enforce insolation this evening, IEL has been in contact with several contractors to stand-down various works in Ifold. Two contractors are mid-process with open channels and temporary barriers, so will have to return tomorrow, for as brief a time as possible, to make safe the dug out areas and remove any health & safety hazards.
