A short summary of this year’s Ifold Estates Ltd AGM

We started with the voting-in of a new management committee following the resignation of the outgoing Chairman and Estate Manager.
Jon Pearce takes on the Chair position, Phil Woolnough and Bill Bottomley as joint Estate Managers, new Directors Roy Baldwin and Karen Muller join the team, and re-election of long-standing Directors Carolyn Saunders and Sarah Butt, all aided by Company Secretary Donna Golds. We thank the outgoing Chairman Peter Hunter and Estate Manager Dougal Scott-Wilson for their dedicated voluntary service to the community over the previous years, with them leaving us in sound shape for 2019.

The formalities continued by presenting the company accounts (via the printed Annual Report) and the auditors statement was read out.

The committee addressed the written questions sent in advance by residents, plus a few more questions and feedback from the floor. Craig Knight gave a popular update on his progress towards re-opening Oak Stores. A show-of-hands was requested for various options around addressing speeding within the estate, and the attending members re-affirmed the unanimous dislike for speedhumps!

Thank you to all residents who took the time to attend and engage with the management of Ifold’s roads & verges. For full details of the meeting, please follow this link to the published minutes.

The Ifold Estates Ltd committee welcomes feedback at any time during the year: don’t wait for next year’s AGM! Please get in touch via the contact details given on the website contact page.
