Ifold Residents Be Aware: West Sussex County Council hard line on surface drainage

Through the ongoing maintenance and improvement activities, Ifold Estates Limited management committee has been made aware that West Sussex County Council is taking a hard line on the topic of surface drainage works, citing the Land Drainage Act 1991 and a country-wide policy to sustain existing open ditches.
Residents are advised to seek all necessary consents, approvals and permissions (including planning permission) before embarking on any works to existing surface water drainage systems.
